It includes several Christian-based churches and organizations. WS also sponsors interfaith dialogues every other year. WomenSpirit will present its third Interfaith Forum in Minneapolis at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral on Thursday, October 18, at 7:30 p.m. This program, titled "Hagar, Sarah and Their Children: Jewish, Christian and Moslem Perspectives," features biblical scholar, Phyllis Trible. The following day, Friday, October 19, from 9:00 a.m. until noon, Mt. Zion Temple in St. Paul will host a panel of three scholars from Jewish, Christian and Moslem traditions to respond remarks by Dr. Trible. The League of Catholic Women in Minneapolis invites its members and the public to a program sponsored by The Guild of Catholic Women, a sister organization the Guild of Catholic Women. It is their 15th Annual "Puzzle of Mental Illness" presentation. It will be held at O'Shaughnessy Auditorium on the campus of the College of St. Catherine at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20.00. They are can be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com or by visiting the O'Shaughnessy Box Office. Tickets are also available at the door.
